Right after INSANITY we watched the Solar Eclipse from the parking lot. Since I live in Oregon, I was in one of the very best places to see the "blackout".
My favorite part of the eclipse was how mighty and magnificent the universe (creation) is. The solar system blows my feeble mind. I liked when it got COLD. I felt powerless and tiny. I thought about how advanced we are today and yet utterly dependent on our sun. Not in an apocalyptic or fearful way but in a way that made me think, we have a mighty God and I should be in awe more often.

When I wear baggy tank tops to workout in, they tend to expose my had-three-babies tummy. Not the most flattering look for me. However, I'm definitely at a place in my life where I'm just proud of my flawed body and how hard I work, and my beautiful ink, and my little rolls/stretch marks/cellulite/scars are part of the canvas. Advice to my younger self would have been: Be less self conscious and awkward; it's unbecoming. What would you tell your younger you? |
